MISSION STATEMENT:

THIS  ART SHOW PROVIDES A CREATIVE OUTLET FOR THE LGBTQ COMMUNITY & ALLIES TO FULLY EXPRESS THEIR FEELINGS AND ATTITUDES SURROUNDING SEXUALITY & GENDER IN A PRODUCTIVE & POSITIVE WAY.

ELIGIBILITY, CONDITIONS & LIABILITY      

  • Entries must be original & entirely the work of the artist.

  • Artist retains all copyright on work. You can choose to offer your work for sale or not – check NFS = not for sale

  • Entries must not be copied, derivatives, or based on other copyrighted material. Not sure check with us: DNlgbtq@gmail.com

  • Include a photo of your artwork with your artwork submission form.

  • All work will be reviewed prior to the day of the show. We reserve the right to refuse any work.

  • Artwork containing excessive gore, promoting violence and hate, drug use or anything deemed pornography is subject to removal and will not be shown. If you are concerned about acceptance of your work email DNlgbtq@gmail.com

  • Artwork be dropped at the gallery on Wednesday June 5 between 2 to 4 pm, or Thursday June 6 between 12 to 2 pm. Email for special arrangements. Pick up will be Saturday July 6 noon to 4 pm.

  • The artist is responsible for delivering artwork to the event location during the drop-off hours.

  • The artist is responsible for retrieving artwork from the event location during the pick-up hours to be specified.

  • If this is impossible please make arrangements ahead of time with art show organizers.

  • Every reasonable precaution to protect artwork will be taken during set-up, exhibition, and removal.

  • Artwork should not be so fragile that public display would be potentially harmful to the work or the viewer.

  • Artist agrees to allow accepted work to remain with the exhibit until the close of show – June 7 through July 6.

  • Artist agrees that the on any artwork that is sold during the show.

  • Art must be ready to hang – meaning framed with some kind of wire on that back that can be used to hang it. The gallery has a professional hanging system on the walls. 3D art will be displayed on tables or the floor depending on size.

  • Gallery personnel will be available during gallery hours to accept payment for art work.

  • Purchased art work will be delivered at close of show. Payments will be distributed at close of the show.
